- Pull over somewhere safe and put your hazards on.
- Don't keep driving on it. A flat can ruin the wheel in a few hundred yards.
- Send us your location and a photo of the tyre. We'll tell you if it can be repaired.
Blowout: what to do now
- Hold the wheel firmly, ease off the pedal and don't brake hard.
- Get as far off the road as you can. On a fast road, wait behind the barrier.
- If you've stopped in a live lane, call 999 first. Then call us.
Lost locking nut key: what to do now
- Check the glovebox, the boot and around the spare wheel first.
- Don't try to hammer a socket on. It can damage the nut and the wheel.
- We remove locking wheel nuts on the spot, without damaging your alloy.
